Contract Supervisor (Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park)

Are you what we are looking for?

Do you have a solid understanding of horticultural techniques and a wealth of experience in grounds maintenance? Are you a natural leader with a track record of effectively managing teams and delivering results? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills? If you have a sound knowledge of horticultural techniques and an extensive knowledge of herbaceous perennials with a RHS Level 3 certificate in Horticulture then you could be the perfect fit for this role. We are seeking individuals who are committed to upholding high standards of service and driving continuous improvement in our operations.

Key duties for the role include:

  1. Coordinating the day-to-day running of the contract, including planning works and managing performance and delivery through area-based teams.
  2. Monitoring work progress and performance, taking prompt action when needed, and reporting any irregularities or problems to the Contract Manager.
  3. Establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships, acting as an ambassador for the company and ensuring client expectations are met.
  4. Managing the performance of contract staff through regular meetings, briefings, and toolbox talks, and addressing any employee relations issues.
  5. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, including conducting risk assessments and implementing corrective measures.
  6. Promoting the company’s services through various marketing channels and developing external relationships to strengthen the company’s profile.
  7. Assisting the Contract Manager with financial management, including reviewing costs and expenditures to ensure budgets are met.
