idverde provides a wide range of green services, including grounds maintenance, landscape creation, and advice services, to both private and public sectors across the UK.
Apprenticeships
Learning & Development within idverde
idverde holds our people at the heart of our business. Without them, we would have no business. We believe in developing our own people and providing them with opportunities for growth and advancement. As a service provider, we want to embrace change and support our people in their respective roles thus allowing for a sustainable workforce who can change and grow with us as we respond to our customer’s needs. Our approach to learning and development spans the following:
- Offering apprenticeships to new and existing colleagues
- Bespoke management development programmes for colleagues at all stages in their careers
- Suite of e-learning courses for all colleagues
- Suite of online learning
- In-house designed and delivered training courses
- External accredited courses such as NEBOSH, Chainsaw etc
- Informal coaching and mentoring, supporting our people on their learning journeys
- Individual learning plans for all colleagues investing jointly in our future together

Our approach to apprenticeships
idverde has been part of the trailblazer group for developing the L2 / L3 and L5 horticulture/landscaping apprenticeships and delivers the L2 successfully in-house to our colleagues. Both new apprentices just starting with the business and existing colleagues who wish to improve their skills and gain recognition for this.
In order to offer a wider range of apprenticeships to all our colleagues, we also partner with other providers, always looking for new programmes to broaden our fields of expertise as learning and development is a pivotal part of idverde’s DNA. As a service provider, we want to embrace change and support our people in their respective roles.
