idverde shortlisted for Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Award
idverde is delighted to have been shortlisted for the award for Grounds Maintenance Company at the Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards.
The Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards, in association with Kress, are held annually to reward and recognise the actions taken by the land management sector towards environmental sustainability and biodiversity. The awards showcase the most important innovation initiatives across the UK landscaping sector; from design and construction, to product supply and manufacturing. This year, idverde has been recognised for its high standards in demonstrating how sustainability, carbon reduction and environmental stewardship is at the core of its culture.
idverde is committed to protecting the environment for future generations and recognises the importance of sustainability. The company is dedicated to making communities stronger, improving outdoor spaces and supporting wildlife conservation.
To ensure an environmentally friendly approach, idverde has adopted a sustainability strategy that has been tailored to suit the needs of its business, customers and stakeholders. The strategy is categorised under the headings of People, Planet, and Performance, which is a corporate translation of the three-pillar conception of sustainability.
Under each of these headings, idverde has developed Sustainability Action Plans that address all major areas of the business concerning sustainability. The plans aim to make the business better for colleagues, customers, communities, and the environments within which it operates.
