The deal marks a significant step in idverde’s European expansion strategy, building on more than 30 acquisitions completed since 2018.

London, 16 March 2026 — Europe’s leading green services group idverde has entered the Spanish market through the acquisition of a majority stake in El Ejidillo Viveros Integrales, one of Spain’s most established green services providers.

The move marks a significant step in idverde’s European expansion strategy and extends the group’s presence to its seventh country. Spain represents one of Europe’s most attractive green services markets, supported by growing demand for sustainable green solutions and resilient urban infrastructure.

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Madrid, El Ejidillo has built a strong reputation for its technical expertise and vertically integrated model, supported by two strategic nurseries in Segovia and Granada. Its offering spans design, creation, maintenance and the restoration of natural and urban landscapes, serving public and private clients nationwide.

The company also brings strong specialty expertise in tree care, water management and climate adaptation, reinforcing idverde’s ambition to grow in high‑value specialist services across Europe and to continue shaping the green services market across the continent.

Operating in conditions of extreme temperatures and arid climates, Spain has developed advanced capabilities in water‑efficient and climate-adapted green services, creating powerful opportunities for synergies and innovation across the broader idverde network.

“Building on El Ejidillo’s strong growth in recent years, we believe this partnership is the most effective and robust path to further develop our business, grounded in our technical knowledge and experience. As part of Europe’s leading green services specialist, we will be able to deliver an even stronger integrated offering while sharing best practices across the idverde network. This partnership represents the right decision for our clients and employees, whose trust has brought us to this point,” said Enrique Benito Miguel, owner and CEO of El Ejidillo Viveros Integrales.

“This acquisition supports our ambition to grow responsibly in Europe by partnering with strong local teams and entering one of the continent’s most attractive green services markets. Spain’s climate challenges are driving demand for water‑efficient and climate‑adapted green services. By combining El Ejidillo’s local expertise with idverde’s broader network, we can accelerate innovation and scale resilient solutions across the region,” said François Gilbart, Group CEO of idverde.

The acquisition has been structured as a long‑term partnership. The El Ejidillo’s owners will continue to lead the business, ensuring continuity and preserving the entrepreneurial DNA that has made the company a market reference.

Combined with the 30+ acquisitions completed since 2018, this step further strengthens idverde’s European footprint and advances its long‑term sustainable growth strategy.
