idverde provides a wide range of green services, including grounds maintenance, landscape creation, and advice services, to both private and public sectors across the UK.
idverde closed 2025 with strong financial and operational momentum, reflecting the successful execution of our strategic plan, which has further strengthened our position as Europe’s leading provider of green services.
The year closed with revenues above €1.1 billion and EBITDA margins exceeding 10% — a performance that builds on the sustained growth trajectory of recent years and underpins our outlook for continued expansion in 2026.
Present across more than 150 communities in Europe, we support over 12,000 local authorities, businesses and institutions thanks to the expertise of our 10,000 colleagues — helping manage and enhance natural assets, ensure the quality and resilience of green spaces, and contribute to healthier, climate‑ready living environments.
The European green services market is now worth over €40 billion, and idverde is the sector’s largest provider. The rapid rise of nature‑based solutions, climate adaptation needs and sustainable urban development is reshaping the sector, and idverde’s combination of scale, capabilities and local presence enables us to respond to these evolving priorities and support communities across Europe.
We have entered the Spanish market, our seventh country, with the acquisition of a majority stake in El Ejidillo Viveros Integrales, a long‑established Madrid‑based group recognised for its craftsmanship and deep roots in the country’s green services sector — bringing the idverde Group’s revenues to €1.2 billion.
With nurseries in Segovia and Granada and more than three decades of experience, El Ejidillo brings a blend of production capabilities, local knowledge and specialised solutions — from tree care to water management and climate adaptation. Joining forces with El Ejidillo opens the door to one of Europe’s most dynamic green services markets, where demand for resilient, sustainable and water‑efficient green solutions is rapidly growing. Spain’s unique climate conditions have positioned the market at the vanguard of sustainable water management, drought prevention and eco-engineering — know‑how that will enrich idverde’s network and spark new opportunities for collaboration and innovation across countries.
Following more than 30 acquisitions since 2018, this step marks the first chapter of our journey in Spain, further strengthens our unique European platform, and reinforces our ambition to continue shaping the green services market across the continent.
The strong results achieved in 2025 were made possible thanks to the dedication of all our colleagues, whose work and expertise continuously strengthen the value we bring to the communities we serve. Last year, our teams delivered remarkable projects that clearly illustrate our impact. To name a few, in France, we extended our long‑standing partnership with Renault through largely electrified, eco-designed maintenance services and on-site environmental awareness initiatives. In the Netherlands, we carried out a complex night-time tree transplantation in Rotterdam, preserving nature while supporting essential infrastructure works. And in Denmark, our teams helped deliver the world’s first evaporation research facility in Søborg, integrating basins, systems, pumps and green spaces to improve water management for residents and measure the effects of different evaporation techniques.
We also continued investing in new tools, systems and refreshed assets, enabling our people to work more safely, efficiently and sustainably, while strengthening the quality of our services.
Together with our leadership teams across Europe, we are building on the strategic growth path established in recent years, and entering a new phase guided by a shared vision structured around three strategic priorities:
First, scaling our core green services by strengthening local and national density, expanding regional coverage, deepening client relationships and enhancing commercial excellence — particularly in B2B and key account management.
Second, expanding into high-value specialty segments such as tree care, water management, climate adaptation, design and consulting, as well as selected value-chain extensions.
Third, continuing to improve margins through disciplined pricing and bid selectivity, procurement optimisation, enhanced field productivity, improved planning and route optimisation, stronger asset utilisation and cost discipline.
“To successfully deliver on these priorities, the key ingredients are clear,” explains François Gilbart, Group CEO of idverde. “They include fostering a culture where every colleague can grow and make a difference, managing our assets and equipment in a smarter way, building an impact-driven growth platform that makes our contribution to communities and nature measurable and scalable, and continuing to accelerate our inorganic growth to strengthen our geographic footprint and capabilities.”
“We enter this new phase with a truly unique European platform and a value‑creation model,” concludes François Gilbart. “What makes this journey even more extraordinary are the idverde people, who elevate our work beyond performance and into meaningful, lasting change for the communities we care for.”
