idverde Celebrates Principal Award Win at 2025 BALI National Landscape Awards
idverde is proud to announce its latest achievement at the prestigious BALI National Landscape Awards, held at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London. The company was honoured with the Principal Award in the Nature Conservation & Biodiversity Enhancement category, recognising its outstanding commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable landscape management.
This accolade follows our success in September, when we shared the news of idverde’s triumph for Wormwood Scrubs. Today’s award further cements our position as a leader in delivering innovative, ecologically responsible solutions that enhance biodiversity and protect natural habitats.
The winning project exemplifies idverde’s dedication to creating spaces that not only meet client needs but also contribute positively to the environment. Through careful planning, habitat restoration, and community engagement, the initiative has delivered measurable benefits for wildlife and local ecosystems.
Saul Huxley, idverde Organic Development Director said:
“We are incredibly proud that our work at Wormwood Scrubs has been honoured with a BALI National Landscape Principal Award in the Nature Conservation & Biodiversity Enhancement category. This recognition reflects the commitment and expertise of Kate McVay, the dedicated teams across idverde, the Wormwood Scrubs Charitable Trust, and the many community volunteers whose passion continues to elevate this remarkable London green space.
In close partnership with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and the RSPB, we’ve worked to enrich habitats, boost biodiversity, and expand opportunities for people to connect with nature.
This award showcases what collaborative effort can achieve and reinforces our shared mission to protect and enhance the natural environment, for wildlife today and for generations to come.”

Kate McVay, idverde/RSPB advisor commented:
“Wormwood Scrubs has always been a place shaped by people as much as by nature, and this award belongs to everyone who has helped to protect and restore it. From volunteers and partners to our on-site teams, this recognition reflects years of care, dedication and belief in the value of urban biodiversity. To receive (or be considered if we don’t win) the Principle Award is a real honour and a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when community and conservation work hand in hand.”
We’d also like to give a special shout-out to Maylim for receiving the award for the Regeneration Scheme Over £500k, proudly sponsored by us here at idverde.
The BALI National Landscape Awards are the UK’s largest and most respected landscape industry awards, celebrating excellence, innovation, and sustainability across the sector. Winning a Principal Award highlights idverde’s ongoing commitment to environmental leadership.
