COVID-19: UPDATE 25 MARCH 2020
idverde’s Leadership Team and Health & Safety team are continuing to work closely with clients to monitor and review this rapidly changing situation. In line with the Government issued information and guidelines, we are constantly putting further measures into place for sites that are still open, to ensure the safety and future job security of our colleagues.
As advised yesterday by the Health Secretary, Matt Hancock: “I want to be absolutely clear, when people absolutely cannot work from home they can still go to work, indeed it’s important that they do to keep the country running” and the majority of our client’s sites still remain open. This is constantly being reviewed. Additional guidance and safe working measures have been put in place today to ensure those colleagues able to work can travel there safely and can adhere to the prescribed social distancing measures both in work places and transport. Where the minimum distance measures cannot be maintained, including travelling, work will not continue.
Colleagues should discuss any specific concerns with their line manager, who will be able to provide specific guidance and support.
