Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Team Leader to join our team based in Derby. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, flexible and self-motivated to join our highly skilled workforce. The job will focus on leading a designated team in the provision of house building services throughout the region. The role is a permanent post working a total of 42.5 hours per week.

Principal responsibilities

• Leading a small, dedicated team that will work over a large geographical area providing services to some high-profile clients.
• You will help to organise daily work schedules, also making sure all daily checks have been completed by the team on relevant plant and machinery.
• You will ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures
• You will have excellent industry knowledge and be able to demonstrate this. It would be desirable that you have had experience of dealing with multiple site contracts especially housing association works.
• Experience with hard and soft landscaping.
• Training will be provided in using ride on mowers together with hand and pedestrian machinery, if not already in place.
• It is important that you can deal with the general public and customers alike.
• And any other duties that maybe required.
