RESPONSIBILITIES

Key functions in Rich’s remit include TLG operational delivery; Health & Safety; Procurement; Fleet & Assets and Operations Support. Rich leads the team of Regional Directors and the support services management team who ensure TLG is running safely and efficiently.

As the senior contact, Rich works with new and existing clients on tenders, contract mobilisations, strategic matters and contract extensions.

Current projects include looking at ways to improve procurement across Europe and implementing our Work Programme Management System, Acorn.

EXPERIENCE

Sales focussed and passionate about operational excellence, Rich has worked in the construction, facilities management and outsourcing industry for over 25 years. He has worked with many blue chip companies and main contractors such as Asda, DHL, MFI, Nissan, Prologis, Toys R Us & Unipart.

He built a reputation for long-standing client relationships and was particularly successful at finding innovative yet sustainable solutions for both contractors and clients.

Rich started in the electrical contracting industry – predominantly in the retail and distribution sectors,  before combining a mechanical and electrical offering to a range of clients, with fast track projects a speciality. An accompanying general maintenance business developed and matured into a total hard services FM provider plus landscaping, serving over 45 Million sq. ft. of commercial space across 6,000 sites throughout the UK.

The progression to outsourcing added a further range of services including I.T. Support, Telecoms and specialist lighting.

Rich joined TLG in August 2015 as Chief Operating Officer.
