2018 has so far been an exceptionally hot summer. This is a particular struggle for our wildlife, especially when the heat is combined with such low rainfall. Low rainfall means that plants die off, invertebrates are harder to find and drinking water is less available. With that in mind, this month’s Biodiversity Buzz infographic illustrates ways we can all help our local wildlife in a heatwave and times of drought.
Thanks as always to Bromley Parks and their dedicated RSPB Biodiversity Advisor for their help in putting together this infographic.
