Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a SHEQ Advisor to support our Landscape Creation activity across London.

Working with the Operational team you will ensure that high standards of health and safety are maintained to ensure the continued wellbeing of our colleagues and the successful delivery of our operations.

In order to succeed in this role, you will be able to work collaboratively  to lead, train, instruct, support and coach the work of others.

This role can be based at any of our depots across London, however a willingness to travel across London to various sites is required.

Are you who we are looking for?

  • A recognised Health and Safety Qualification – NEBOSH General Certificate or similar
  • You will have demonstrable experience in a similar construction/landscaping environment.
  • Experience of working with ISO/ OHSAS management systems, including up to date knowledge of the standards
  • A recognised auditing qualification in Quality, Health and Safety or Environmental systems.
  • A recognised training, skills and practice qualification
  • Further relevant qualifications or competencies in the SHEQ discipline would also be advantageous.
  • An enthusiastic self-starter, with the ability to motivate oneself and act with initiative
  • A supportive personality who is able to get stuck in and work with staff at all levels with a desire to want to make things better.
  • The ability to be flexible in a fast paced environment and be able to manage a busy workload.
  • A Positive, ‘can do’ attitude. Being comfortable to roll up the sleeves and get things done.
  • Good communication skills; an ability to convey sound SHEQ advice at all levels.
