Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Landscape Designer to join our team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative and sustainable landscape design, coupled with a proven track record of delivering exceptional projects. As a senior member of our design team, you will play a key role in shaping and leading landscape design initiatives, contributing to the success and growth of idverde.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design Leadership:
    • Lead and manage the landscape design process, from conceptualisation to project completion.
    • Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior design team members.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of design concepts into project plans.
  2. Project Management:
    • Oversee multiple landscape design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
    • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality design solutions.
    • Conduct site visits and assessments to inform the design process.
  3. Innovative Design Solutions:
    • Develop innovative and sustainable landscape design concepts that align with client objectives and environmental considerations.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating new ideas into design proposals.
  4. Client Engagement:
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable design plans.
    • Present design concepts and proposals to clients, addressing feedback and ensuring client satisfaction.
  5. Technical Proficiency:
    • Utilise design software and tools proficiently to create detailed plans, renderings, and presentations.
    • Demonstrate expertise in plant selection, hardscape design, and environmental considerations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
  • Proficient in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong plant knowledge and the ability to create sustainable and biodiverse landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven project management abilities, including budget and timeline oversight.
