Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team based in Mendip at our depot in Bath. Working on a fixed term contract, you will be responsible for the delivery of a high-quality ground’s maintenance service to our clients. You will undertake a range of activities in this role including grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning and flower bed maintenance.

Are you who we are looking for?

• Experienced and suitably qualified grounds maintenance operative;
• Experience of working on multi sites, high profile housing contracts would be desirable but not essential;
• The ability to read and understand site maps/plans
• Confident in organising daily works schedules and complete required daily check sheets for both sites and vehicle;
• A full driving license is essential with a desired trailer towing capability;
• Experience in the use of ride on mowers and horticultural machinery;
• Hold a PA1 and PA6 qualification for weed spraying – again this would be desirable but not essential;
• You will ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures; and
• The successful candidate should be approachable, responsible, and able to communicate at all levels
