Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Grave Digger to join our team based in Wycombe. This is a highly varied role covering a range of activities, including grass cutting, grave digging, maintaining flower beds and shrubbery, hedge cutting and other tasks required to enhance our client’s green spaces. This is a permanent role with average working hour totalling 40 per week.

Are you who we are looking for?

• To organise and undertake effectively and efficiently, appropriate levels of service delivery.
• To ensure that appropriate consideration is given to the beliefs of the funeral cortège, and the funeral party.
• General maintenance and horticultural landscaping duties, including the interpretation of plans and drawings.
• To ensure that all grave digging and or grounds maintenance work meets appropriate standards, as direct by the supervising office, particularly, health and safety consideration as they apply to grave digging.
• To maintain essential equipment and Depot areas in a proper condition, including the cleaning of buildings and toilets.
• To work effectively as a member of a team.
• To ensure that all graves are suitable in dimensions to receive the casket or coffin prescribed.
