Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Gardener to join our team based at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. We are looking for someone to undertake gardening duties to improve all horticultural aspects of greenery on site. You will Ensure all activities are undertaken in full accordance with the company’s Health & Safety procedures guidelines. This is a permanent position with a total of 40 working hours per week.

Are you who we are looking for?

  • Ability to work to a very high standard without the need for supervision.
  • Demonstrable ability to interpret verbal and written instructions in a manner that facilitates effective working.
  • Excellent and proven communications skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and interface with a diverse range of people including Parks users, visitors, Friends of Groups, and all other stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety at work policy and practice.
  • Proven ability to deliver practical horticultural job (desirable)
  • Dependable and conscientious.
  • Demonstrable ability to work as a member of a team
  • Capable of dealing with both routine and non-routine matters.
  • Pays attention to detail, particularly about recording of information to be used for daily tasks.
  • A full valid UK driving licence is advantageous
