About the role

Data Entry Administrator (Estimating) at idverde:

You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and relevance of recorded data on our systems. You will be assisting the Estimating Team with administration support as required in one of the following locations: Birmingham, Gloucester, Northampton, Leigh, York, Reading and Derby

The position requires a high degree of accuracy as well as self-motivation. You will be actively involved with the Microsoft Office package by emphasizing on the accuracy of the data entry that will be uploaded onto the system. You will be expected to enter quotation data into a bespoke operational computer package that allows for efficient and accurate work delivery and invoicing. As such, accuracy and attention to detail are vital.

This role has the potential to become permanent, with particularly capable candidates being considered for a position as an Assistant Estimator, where they will be trained to become Estimators.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Regularly update databases and spreadsheets ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Display innovation, you will have the autonomy to make any suggestions you believe will make the database administration process run more smoothly
  • Work collaboratively with all colleagues and build trust and relationships with the rest of the team to deliver quality company services.
  • Should be able to complete data sheets on timely basis to ensure meeting the deadlines
  • Read quotations and drawings and convert these into useable data
