Job Description

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Business Development Administrator to join our team based at Coventry on a 12-month fixed term contract.

As a Business Development Administrator, you will join our successful Business Development team and will assist and manage the tendering process from initial expressions of interest, through to submitting Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and providing supporting information for tender submissions such as method statements and work programmes.

You will be responsible for monitoring and interacting with tendering portals, sharing opportunities to bid with the broader Business Development team. To provide general administrative support to business development processes and the department.

Are you who we are looking for?

  • Do you have excellent organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines for PQQs or tenders
  • Do you have a high standard of written comprehension in relation to reading and understanding tender documents (e.g.  specifications and terms and conditions)
  • You will have previous experience of completing complex business questionnaires, tendering and contracts would also be useful but not essential
  • You wil lbe comfortable using various MS Office programmes in particular Word and Excel to an advanced level
  • You will enjoy working collaboratively with cross functional teams to deliver to multi-task and help other colleagues, for example, on marketing projects
  • If you have an horticultural, landscaping or environmental qualification or interest would be useful but not essential
