How are our apprenticeships structured?
Depending on the level of qualification being attained, an apprenticeship can take between 12 to 24 months to complete.
As apprenticeships are work based training schemes, the majority of training you will receive will be ‘on the job’ as part of our experienced teams. The rest of the training will be provided by our in-house Performance Campus or a training provider partner organisation(depending on your locality). You will be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid at the nationally recognised apprentice rate of pay for the duration of your training.
Each apprenticeship is made up of a number of elements which is called the Framework. This means that you will get a range of qualifications as you progress through your training and education. Each Framework has three main strands:
- A competence based element
- A technical element
- A skills element
These three strands will quite often be accompanied by additional qualifications specific to our industry and the job that you are doing.
You will receive lots of support and encouragement to complete your apprenticeship and qualifications and progress within our business.
