The team at idverde was thrilled to be chosen to provide grounds maintenance services to Stratford-upon-Avon District Council from 1st April 2013. The contract will last for five years, with an option to extend for up to five further years.
In order to seek fresh ideas from interested contractors about how the town’s green spaces could be improved, the District Council asked all bidding firms to put together a variant bid with added-value proposals, in addition to providing a core bid.
idverde’s proposals include an increased frequency of grass cutting to all high profile verges and additional training of staff to allow them to operate as Park Wardens, increasing security in the town centre.
idverde also looks forward to supporting the In-Bloom groups across the District, encouraging residents to value their green spaces, and exchanging ideas and best practice at our other contracts such as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. From April 2013, idverde has operated a range of services throughout the District including: grass cutting, parks and gardens maintenance, street cleaning and grounds maintenance services.
