Selwood Housing Group is a not-for-profit housing provider based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, providing local, affordable homes. The Group has over 6,500 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership in Wiltshire and Somerset and employs nearly 300 staff from its offices in Trowbridge and Melksham.

idverde has been working in partnership with Selwood Housing for 19 years and when the contract was subsequently re-tendered in 2019, idverde was delighted to re-win the contract for a further three-year term, commencing in 1st October 2019 to October 2022.

For the new contract idverde put in place a new management team to deliver the service in the current competitive commercial atmosphere while being sympathetic to the needs of all Selwood Housing Group residents. A significant investment in plant and equipment was also undertaken at start-up tailored to suit the needs of the contract and landscape.

The services being delivered across the Selwood Housing Group is wide ranging and include:

  • Hedge Maintenance
  • Care Homes

idverde works closely with Selwood Housing to achieve their overall aim to provide a reliable, consistent service ensuring Selwood Housing’s grounds maintenance areas are well maintained and presented at all times. This is delivered through safe and professional working practices with a friendly, considerate approach towards tenants and the general public. We also meet regularly with Selwood Housing officers to review progress and performance against the specification and standards set out in the contract.

idverde runs a fully operational depot throughout the year within Wiltshire and the surrounding areas. Our office is placed in centrally in Westbury within easy reach of locations within the county of Wiltshire. The office is staffed by a local management team with many years’ experience working with Local Government, Schools and Housing Associations in the South West Region. We also have a vast experience of landscape construction one-off projects, specialist requirements, grounds maintenance, sports pitches, wildlife and biodiversity areas and arboriculture works and inspections.
