idverde’s Horticultural Development Manager, Nicola Clarke, will work with Midland Heart and local residents to undertake site surveys and identify priority sites for improvement, using local knowledge, satisfaction surveys and resident meetings to drive the creation of an improvement programme. The local idverde team will also meet with residents’ groups, encourage resident monitors, and provide training sessions to communicate the specification and expected standards.

idverde’s successful apprentice scheme will be extended to the Midland Heart contract, and we are particularly keen to recruit apprentices from the Midland Heart Estates.

idverde’s  Greenspace Development Team will also help identify sources of funding, including grants, sponsorship, donations, and in-kind goods and services from a range of potential external funders, including idverde’s own charity, Growing a Greener Britain.
