Maintenance Rounds

idverde is contracted to cut grass for Stafford and Rural Homes twice per month in the summer to ensure it is always kept short and well-presented throughout the mowing season. Fluctuating weather conditions can change the way we need to approach the grass cutting cycle.

You can see when we last visited and are next due in your area below. Please note dates are provided on a week commencing basis.

Shrub beds shall receive appropriate pruning throughout the year in order to prevent any increase in height/width and encroachment, apart from allowing the development of a maturing planting scheme.

Stafford and Rural Homes hedges are maintained with one cut in Summer and one cut in Winter. Pruning will take place annually, with planted beds being pruned annually in accordance with good horticultural practice. The removal of dead wood, weeds and litter will be carried out at each visit.

Weed control services are applied as follows to provide a way that presents a clean, safe and attractive weed free amenity;

  • Sheltered housing hard surfaces: Spot treat as required at the same time as every grass cutting visit
  • General housing hard surfaces: Spot Treat with suitable treatment three times per year

Litter and leaf clearance will take place at every routine visit.

Tree maintenance works will be carried out in line with Stafford and Rural Homes programme of maintenance with additional works carried out when required due to emergencies, severe weather conditions etc.
