Selwood Housing is a not-for-profit housing provider based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, providing local, affordable homes. They have over 6,500 homes for affordable rent and shared ownership in Wiltshire and Somerset and employs nearly 300 staff from offices in Trowbridge and Melksham.
idverde has been working in partnership with Selwood Housing for 19 years and when the contract was subsequently re-tendered in 2019, idverde was delighted to re-win the contract for a further three-year term, commencing in 1st October 2019 to October 2022.
For the new contract idverde put in place a new management team to deliver the service in the current competitive commercial atmosphere, while being sympathetic to the needs of all Selwood Housing residents. A significant investment in plant and equipment was also undertaken at start-up, tailored to suit the needs of the contract and landscape.
idverde works closely with Selwood Housing to achieve their overall aim to provide a reliable, consistent service, ensuring Selwood Housing’s grounds maintenance areas are well maintained and presented at all times. This is delivered through safe and professional working practices with a friendly, considerate approach towards tenants and the general public. We also meet regularly with Selwood Housing officers to review progress and performance against the specification and standards set out in the contract.
