Established in 2000, Saxon Weald is a housing association managing approximately 6500 homes across Sussex and Hampshire. Saxon Weald provide affordable rented and shared ownership homes for individuals and families, as well as properties exclusively for the over 55s. Saxon Weald are a charitable Community Benefit Society, with the money we make from rents being re-invested in the management, maintenance and building of homes.
idverde is contracted to cut grass within Saxon Weald on a performance basis, meaning that there is no set number of cuts each year but that the grass should always be kept short and well-presented throughout the mowing season. Fluctuating weather conditions can change the way we need to approach the grass cutting cycle.

Saxon Weald shrub beds and hedges are also maintained on a performance specification throughout the year. Pruning will take place annually, with planted beds being pruned annually in accordance with good horticultural practice. The removal of dead wood, weeds and litter will be carried out at each visit.
Rose beds will be pruned annually in accordance with good horticultural practice and standards, whilst dead flowers, dead wood, weeds and litter will be removed at each visit and bark mulch will be replenished.
Weed control services are applied as a minimum of twice a year, or more often to maintain standards.
Gritting to footpaths, steps and walkways to entrances is carried out when heavy frost is forecast.
