idverde has been working in partnership with Curo Housing Group since November 2010 after being awarded a 5-year contract following a tendering process against stiff competition. The contract included a two-year extension which was exercised by Curo Housing Group resulting in the contract running until 2017. When the contract was subsequently re-tendered, idverde was delighted to re-win the contract for a further five-year term, commencing in April 2017.

Continuous monitoring of the contract both internally and by the client is an important factor to ensure the service is delivered on time and value for money is maintained.
idverde is committed to the environment as part of ISO14001 and has a dedicated green waste skip at the depot which is managed through a local specialist recycling company.
Our office is ideally placed on the outskirts of Bath within quick and easy reach of the city centre and the surrounding towns and parishes. The office is staffed by a local management team that has many years’ experience working with Local Councils, Schools and Housing Associations in the South West Region. We also have experience of landscape construction and are happy to quote for one off projects and specialist requirements too, including construction, equipment supply and grounds maintenance, sports pitches, wildlife and biodiversity areas and arboriculture works and inspections.
Following Curo Housing Group’s re-award of the grounds maintenance contract to idverde in 2017, we introduced the new post of Customer Liason Officer (CLO) to the contract team. The CLO’s role is to liaise with Curo and its customers to gather feedback which will be used to make future service improvements. The CLO also attends resident group meetings, hosts ‘Meet your Team’ events at new schemes, carries out customer surveys, leads resident involvement days, and organises work placements.
As part of our committed partnership working, idverde was delighted to join the Curo Accredited Work Placement programme which gives the chance for unemployed Curo residents to gain practical work experience in an industry that they are interested in whilst working towards NVQ units.
idverde has taken 7 placements to date and has successfully offered seasonal grounds operative positions: 2 of these so far, 1 of whom has returned to us for a second season this time directly employed as a seasonal grounds maintenance operative: a real success story!
idverde is delighted to have become more and more involved in Curo’s regular Community Challenge events, where we get involved from inception of the scheme, being on hand to give advice on plant/flower types/composts/tools etc, through to delivery of plants and materials to the willing participants on the various sites chosen for enhancement.
idverde carries out the full range of grounds maintenance activities throughout Curo Housing Group areas including grass cutting, shrub and hedge maintenance, hard area maintenance and many other maintenance tasks.

Please note that fluctuating weather conditions can change the way we need to approach the grass cutting cycle. On average, we will complete each cycle within 15 working days between March and October.
